Five Years Time: Quick Reflection

I recently got to thinking about my life journey, and I can't help but marvel at it all.

At the beginning of 2016 I had just gotten married, and fast forward five years later, I'm now celebrating 100 days with my newborn daughter.

In between that time, I've moved 3 times, bought my first house, switched jobs twice, co-founded 2 small businesses, enrolled in seminary, traveled to various parts of Asia, and served as a college & young adult counselor.

There were many tough and difficult patches during that time, to be sure. There were times I raged, cursed, and wrestled with God.

But I'd be doing a disservice if I didn't testify to God's faithfulness and how he's stuck with me every step of the way. God is good (in spite of me)!

I don't know where you're at in your journey right now. But if things haven't gone your way, hang in there. God isn't done with you.

You might just be in the middle of a deep and beautiful chapter that he's writing to bless someone else down the road.

Romans 8:28 - β€œAnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
